Mid-Week Worship & Events

Most of the time, Christians live out their faith mid-week by living their lives: by being a Christian presence in the workplace, the doctor’s surgery, the cafe, the school, and in conversations with friends and neighbours. But sometimes, it’s good to gather too.

We gather for prayer. We gather to learn more about faith. And we gather to think and plan and do what needs to be done in our communities. Often, it’s in these mid-week gatherings that we also have time to get to know people and become friends.

A lot of the small groups that meet in the Waltham Group meet for just 4 – 6 weeks, and both the groups and topics change frequently. Other groups meet always, but people take turns leading, so that everyone gets a chance to rest as well as a chance to contribute. If you were hoping for a group that you don’t see listed here, why not get in touch? Your idea might be the very thing that begins something new.
