St Martin’s, East Ravendale

St Martin’s church has a small congregation, with several families who have been supporting the church for generations. The church is the focal point of the village, and the local community tends the grounds and gathers in church for social events and celebrations throughout the year.

Next door, there is a healthy and happy Church of England School. The children are taught in small classes, and the atmosphere is one of trust, co-operation and laughter. The school has a Good Ofsted rating, and an Excellent Church Schools rating. We are currently struggling with a shortage of clergy in the area, and have had to reduce the frequency of services. The congregation gathers to worship on the 2nd Sundays, every 2nd month:

9 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) – 2nd Sundays in Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec.
